#91 & #53: Complete

And with only scant hours remaining before the train leaves the platform for her honeymoon, Maze pulls out the stops, shoves the last Thank You card into an envelope and seals it shut! I was kinda bad and fell into my normal habits for a while there since I wanted to do 5 a day starting at the beginning of July. I fell into my old habit of saying I was just too tired or forgetting until I was in bed, or worse, the next day. Then the next day. And the next. But this week, despite my nerves going crazy over this trip, work being more exhausting than usual, and my last nerve getting on my husband's last nerve, I forced myself to work on the last 22 cards, and finally finished the last one around 9 o'clock.

I feel proud of myself for this. I know if I hadn't taken this challenge and had that deadline I gave myself looming over me, I would never get those things out. All that's left now is to address and mail them, which won't be half as much effort as writing them all was.

On another note, #53: Preserve roses and bouquet in a shadow box, is in the process of being completed. The bouquet really doesn't look as good as I would have hoped, so I'm leaving that a miss. However, I still had all the roses Hubby has given me over the years. They have been at Michaels for a week now getting put in a shadow box and should be done next week.
