5000 question survey - #1-100

With the 50 Questions To Free Your Mind done, I've decided to start on the 5000 question survey. It's going to take a while to get all these done. I apologize in advance for the enormous walls of text you are about to encounter.

Also, my "little sister" was inspired to start her own 101/1001 list and is working on compiling it now. Love you, sissy! <3

1. Who are you? – Maze, wife and procrastinator

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you? – I’m happily married, I’m generally called too nice for my own good (to the point of once being un-roastable at a roast) and I love games

3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing? – Spending time surfing the internet, watching TV with my husband, or playing video games.

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time). – Favorite classes were my history ones. I always had badass history teachers. In college, my philosophy classes, particularly “Philosophy of Games” and “Philosophy of Political Humor”. Least favorite were my math classes. Math was always just too dull and unimaginative for me.

5. What is your biggest goal for this year? – Get a good chunk of this list done, hit my one year anniversary with my job

6. Where do you want to be in 5 years? – Either planning on being a stay-at-home wife and mom or have a Masters degree and improving myself in my career

7. What stage of life are you in right now? - I’m married, employed, but not ready for kids yet.

8. Are you more child-like or childish? – Child-like

9. What is the last thing you said out loud? – Hurry up! (I’m hungry darnit)

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now? - Walking on Sunshine.

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes? - No, but I’ve been curious to. Although we did do a day of martial arts training in my Culture of China class… does that count?

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same? - Every day has the potential to be a little brighter.

13. Does time really heal all wounds? - I doubt it can heal a decapitation, but for the most part, yes.

14. How do you handle a rainy day? - Same way I handle a normal day, with a bit more hustle when I have to go outside.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights? – Losing your luggage. At least you HAVE the lights and know where they are.

16. How is your relationship with your parents? – Love ‘em both, our relationships haven’t been better

Will you miss them when they are gone? – Without a doubt

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you? – Unless people are talking really loudly, not really.

18. What is the truest thing that you know? – I love my husband

19. What did you want to be when you grew up? – A fantasy writer

20. Have you ever been given a second chance? – Yeah, but thinking on it, I wasn’t the one who needed to be given the chance…

35. Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why? – 2000s. It was the first decade I was fully aware of.

37. What country do you live in and who is the leader of that country? – USA, President Obama

If you could say any sentence to the current leader of your country what would it be? - We can haz peace plz?

38. What's your favorite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night? – Food network or Adult Swim

39. What Disney villain are you the most like and why? – Um….Probably, and this is pulling at strings here, Madam Mim from The Sword in the Stone. I like magic, and getting sick knocks me on my butt.

40. Have you ever been a girl scout/boy scout? – Tried it, didn’t like it.

41. If you were traveling to another continent would you rather fly or take a boat? - Boat. Boat boat boat.

42. Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night? - Science.

43. What does your name mean? - Maze is a nickname I was given in middle school by my classmates who considered me one of the smarter kids. They said my brain was like a maze. I don’t get it, but it made sense then.

66. What holiday shouldn't exist but does? – St. Patrick’s day. Might have had a good basis at one time, but now? I mean, really, a holiday that basically celebrates inebriety?

70. Do you have any deep dark secrets or are you pretty much up front? – None from my husband, some from everyone else.

71. What is under your bed right now? – An old board game of my husband’s, a cane-sword, and our heating pad

72. If you were in the Land of Oz would you want to live there or go home? – Go home. There’s people I love here.

73. If you drive do you frequently speed? – Speed limit, no higher or lower

74. What is the world's best song to dance to? – There is, undoubtedly, one song. Everyone knows it, everyone dances to it. It is impossible not to. You can’t resist it. When you hear the music, you must do…the Chicken Dance. Maybe the YMCA, too. Oh, what, you wanted REAL dancing?

75. What song was on the last time you danced with someone? At my wedding with my husband.

76. Do you prefer Disney or Warner Brothers? – Disney owns Pixar. Therefore, Disney.

77. What is the first animal you would run to see if you went to the zoo? – Paaanda. Panda panda panda.

78. Would you consider yourself to be romantic? – I try to be

79. If the earth stopped rotating would we all fly off? – I don’t think so. While rotation is one way of achieving gravity, so is mass.

80. What is the one thing that you love to do so much that you would make sacrifices to be able to do it? – Be with my husband

81. If you (and everyone) had to lose one right or freedom, but you could pick which one everyone had to lose, what would you pick? – Um…probably freedom of the press, if I had to pick one.

82. If you had to choose would you live on the equator or at the North Pole? – Equator. I’m Floridian. Bring on the heat.

83. Would you rather give up listening to music or watching television? – Oh geez…this one’s tough. I’m going to say….I could live without television. Music, especially on long road trips is what keeps me sane. I couldn’t give that up.

84. What do you think makes someone a hero? – The willingness to risk and sacrifice for others with no hidden agenda

85. What cartoon would you like to be a character in? – Probably Futurama.

86. Name one thing that turns your stomach: - Discovered yesterday: Squeez-Bacon. Oh god.

87. What was the last thing you paid for? - Lunch

88. Are you a coupon clipper? - Nope

89. Get anything good in the mail recently? – Wedding gifts

90. Which would you rather take as a gym class...dancing, sailing, karate, or bowling? - Dancing

91. In Star Trek people 'beam' back and forth between different places. What this means is they stand in a little tube and their molecules are deconstructed and sent to another tube somewhere else where they are reassembled. Only problem is when the molecules are deconstructed the person is dead. When they are put back together it is only a clone that has all the dead person's memories. So...

Is the person who gets beamed the same person on both ends? – Effectively, yes. Our memories and physical attributes make us who we are. If all of them are the same, then the person is effectively the same.

92. What insects are you afraid of? – Stinging ones. I dislike biting ones. All other ones are allowed to crawl around on me at will.

93. If you could print any phrase on a T-shirt, what would it say? – Live Long and Prosper with the proper hand symbol

94. What's the most eccentric thing you have ever worn? – Probably something when I was a kid. I’m pretty straight-laced as far as clothes go

95. If you could pick one food that you could eat all you wanted but it would have no effect on how much you weigh, what food would it be? - Chocolate

96. What are your parents interested in? – Dad – Oriental culture, opera, jazz, philosophy; Mom – mountains, Elton John and other 70s performers, working in an educational setting

97. Have you ever caught an insect and kept it as a pet? – Yep, a rolypoly

Have you ever caught and tamed a wild animal? – If stray cats count as wild, yes.

98. What is more helpful to you, wishes or plans? – Plans. Wishes are great, but they don’t get anything accomplished.

99. When do you feel your life energy the strongest? – When I’m with my husband

100. You are spending the night alone in the woods and may bring only 3 items with you. What do you bring? – Sleeping bag, lighter, and a sturdy weapon.
