Update of No Consequence

Hello 2011. You're off to an awesome start, aren't you? I'm stressed to the point of hair-pulling at work, not making much progress on my list, and overall tired.

My coworker invited me to go ice skating with her and her daughter sometime, so I'll plan a date with her. My mother sent me, at my behest, directions to make a padded notebook for my recipe book. We're going to try and make bread this weekend, and I want to find a recipe that'll let me use my new toys (grater/zester, Alton Brown-style adjustable measuring cup, and a 7" chef's knife). We got new bookshelves I want to assemble, but we need to get rid of the furniture that's where it would go first - a disassembled bed frame and a television stand. It's a huge bookshelf unit that I've had my eye on for a year. Went and checked on it after getting home from Christmas, and the 5-shelf unit in the color I wanted was on sale for the price of the 2-shelf unit (down to $229 from $550). That price was too good to turn down. The shelves should be able to fit all our books and a lot of our games or movies. We'll see when it's all set up. I've wanted new bookshelves for ages, so happy to finally have them!

I'm gonna go see if I can get away with sleeping in my office now.
