Okay, I haven't done an update for a little bit, so I'm just going to lump 'em all together.
#21 - Last Tuesday, I made Pizza Rollups from another friend's blog. Accidentally overcooked the crescent rolls, didn't flavor the sauce enough, and made one heck of a mess trying to work with it all. It was good though. Next time, I think I may try putting a garlic butter on the rolls before adding the meat. Garlic bread pizza rolls anyone?
#32 & 33 - Last week I started reading George R. R. Martin's famous Song of Fire and Ice series, the first one being A Game of Thrones. That was pretty much all I did this weekend, read that book, and then start on the second one (out of a series of 4). The books were a gift from one of our groomsmen. They're incredibly dense (book 1 is 807 pages, 2 almost 1000, etc), but pretty easy to read and definitely enjoyable.
I've found it interesting that when I made #32, I was planning on reading any books, but so far, I've only read books I haven't read before. I'll probably eventually get around to reading some again, but I think I'm going to shoot for at least 25 of the books being new.
#48 - I think I'm going to call this one completed as soon as two things are done. 1) Every picture is hung somewhere and 2) There's something decorative in the bowl my mother gave us for a wedding gift. Right now, there's a few framed posters waiting to be hung up, and I'm thinking either wax fruit or fake flowers for the bowl.
#62 - A few weeks back, I saved all 50 100-question sets on my computer just in case by some circumstance the 5000q survey was lost to us. I've decided I'm going to answer them all, but I won't post them on here. You guys don't want to read all that stuff, and I don't want to subject you to that. Maybe I'll keep them on a flash drive once I'm done as sort of a time capsue for myself to look back on in 10 years or so. In any event, I've completed 4 out of the 50.
#68 and 69 - Three days!! Friday is going to be an unhealthy, delicious day for me :P I didn't really do these tasks for any particular reason. I'm a healthy weight, and I wasn't really addicted to soda or fast food. I just wanted to do them to prove to myself that we could, that we didn't need to depend on fast food if we're feeling lazy.
#70 - I'm going to upload the pictures I have sometime this week. I think maybe when I'm done with these, I'll try the 365 photo challenge as my "upgrade". See what I can come up with.
Upgrade? What? Basically, for some of the tasks that are calculatable, I'm giving myself "extra credit" upgrades. I'm not holding myself to completing them like the original 101, but they'll keep me working on what I'm trying to improve about myself. Example: I've upgraded #66 - Try 5 foods I've never had before to try 5 more foods (10 total). That way, I'll keep myself open to trying more foods even though I've technically finished the task.
