The Easiest Donation

Saturday morning, I got up, fussed around on the internet while it poured down rain outside, then threw on a waterproof jacket and drove 5 minutes for a fateful meeting... to get my hair cut! Eight inches of hair are now in a ponytail waiting to be mailed out to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program and I've got a cute new haircut.

I love donating my hair. Honestly, it's so easy, and it does something really good for someone. No, it's not on the level of donating blood. I'm not saving any lives. But if my hair can help a woman or child suffering from cancer who has lost her own hair to chemo feel a little bit better about themselves and remind them how beautiful they are, then clip away. This is my second time donating, the first time being a year before my wedding, and most likely, in another year and a half, I'll do it again. It's really the easiest donation to make. Plus, the woman who cut my hair this weekend said my hair is a perfect base for whatever they wanted to do with it. All I have to do now is get an envelope that'll fit the ponytail and mail it off to Pantene and I'll have #78 done.

Also, pics!
