Why hello there, April. How are you? Still a little cold out for you, isn't it? Hopefully you'll kick the rest of the snow off your boots so I can closet my sweaters until October or November again.
I thought about doing some kind of April Fools joke on here, but then I remembered that I got tired of April Fools jokes when my mother realized she could regularly get me by waking me up with it and not giving my brain a chance to register the day. I like the cute or fun things different websites will do, but personal pranks I'm not a fan of. Thankfully Hubby's not a prankster either.
I'm turning 25 later this month. Weird thought. Doesn't this mean I can rent cars now? Or will be able to when it happens? Aside from the quarterlife, I'm not entirely sure what comes along with 25. For me, it'll probably just be a nice dinner with Hubby and a visit to my mother. It's what we usually do for my birthday. I'm not a party person.
And with that said, I'll also bring up that I'm co-hosting a party for Juliebean and her parents! Her mom and dad's friends want to meet her, so another friend of theirs and I are planning a meet-and-greet for everyone. Hopefully people will RSVP, because I'm going to be adding to my Made Recipes list for this. I've gotten some great ideas from friends and forums, I just have to decide what I'm going to make. I'm looking forward to this because I'll be able to cross #43: Host a dinner party off my list sooner than I expected! Expect a recap in a few weeks. With the weather getting better, I may also talk with S about taking care of the yard sale-ing task soon. I'm sure we're going to start seeing more sales within the next few weeks. We may even co-host our own! Also gonna plan on doing some spring cleaning the next few weeks. Maybe take care of #86 and clean out our wardrobes. Gonna be a fun spring!
